What is SAUMA’s aim?
SAUMA’s aim is to prevent pollution of the drinking water contained within the Stampriet Artesian Basin (SAB). We strive to protect the only year-round freshwater resource for present and future generations.
Our goals include:
Protect the health and safety of all Namibians
Cancel all mineral exploration licenses in the Stampriet Aquifer Basin
Prevent any mineral exploration or mining in the Stampriet Aquifer Basin
Cancel all exploration drilling permits in the Stampriet Aquifer Basin
Assist the public and experts to support the Namibian Government
Can you send me pamphlets, brochures or resources?
To minimize our costs, we limit our printed materials, however we do have a news and downloads section containing more information. Also feel free to print communications you may need, such as About Us, The Impact, as well as photos and stories of the people we empower.
Can someone from SAUMA speak at my event?
